Leisure time in Sosua
Our language school in Sosua offers a varied and exciting programme of leisure activities. During your language holiday you will explore and discover the area of Sosua and Cabarete, as well as the Dominican Republic. Activities organised by the school include barbeques, group dinners, bachata and merengue dance classes, Dominican cooking lessons, beach volleyball, mini golf, billiards, tours to bars and discos in the evenings, visits to concerts, the Amber Museum in Puerto Plata or the Jewish Museum in Sosua. All-day excursions to Punta Rusia as well as excursions inland in the so-called Dominican Alps to Jarabacoa are also organized by the language school.
Wind-surfing, kite-surfing and diving
The surf area of Cabarete is considered one of the best surfing areas in the world. Our language school offers you the opportunity to combine the language course in Sosua and Cabarete with a surfing course. The two riffs, which border Sosua Bay, create excellent conditions for diving – combine your language course in the Dominican Republic with a diving course and discover the fascinating underwater world!
